Completion of this course enables you to buy/rent scuba equipment and dive at many stunning dive sites worldwide. The full course takes 4 days. The PADI Open Water course is the most popular diver program in the world.

Just bring your swim suit and lunch
Open Water students must be able to maintain themselves and float with no swim aids for 10 minutes in water too deep to stand and also complete a 200m continuous surface swim or a 300m swim with mask, snorkel and fins. Although we have reference manuals in many languages, conversational English is a requirement. Minimum age is 12 years

Program Description
- Knowledge Development sessions scattered throughout the first few days of your course. These can be done here at Hahei or online before you arrive – check the PADI eLearning online link
- Skills Development sessions in a pool or pool-like conditions. We often use the sheltered waters around Hahei for you to learn and practice the skills and techniques used in the Open Water sessions
- 4 Scuba dives in open water. These are all from our purpose built dive boat, to a variety of our favourite dive sites in and around Hahei
